Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Center, a division of Family Crisis and Counseling Center, is a state certified, private nonprofit counseling center dedicated to providing outpatient counseling services for adults, adolescents, and their families who are having alcohol and/or other drug related problems.

 

Our Philosophy

Alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable iseases/illnesses. The person concerned and their family members are caught in a desperate predicament
involving complex, distorted and destructive patterns. Our goal is to educate and motivate all concerned with the disease to obtain proper treatment. Our approach is holistic, focusing on physical, intellectual, spiritual and emotional growth. As a result, change occurs.

 

Treatment

Includes accurate, understandable information about substance abuse and individualized cognitive-behavioral and/or traditional counseling programs. We believe individuals can recover in an atmosphere of trust, respect and increasing personal responsibility.

All of our counselors are (or are in the process of obtaining) state certification or licensure as Alcohol and Drug Counselors and possess other professional
qualifications.
